The compressor is so easy to carry around and holds enough capacity so that I can carry it into closets or other small spaces without having to worry if electrical outlets are nearby. It takes mine less than a minute to refill if I use all the compressed air. Outfitted with an air chuck, I can keep all the motor vehicle tires filed without running to the gas station, and by purchasing a nozzle, I can keep all my other tools free of sawdust.

found in CFFN250S's reviews: A nice tidy package! - I guess to keep the price low, Porter-Cable outfitted this kit with their 135 psi pancake compressor, rather than their 150 psi compressor which is sold with their 18 gage brad nailer kit.
The positives of the kit are;
1) The 17 piece accessory kit with the pistol grip blower, 2) The gun has a balanced and quality feel, 3) Easy to load gun, 4) Easy to clear jammed nails, 5) Shorter and more streamlined design of gun, 6) Enough power to countersink a 2-1/2" nail into red oak, 7) Portable and reasonably light-weight compressor, 8) Very good sight line of nailing surface, 9) Value purchase.
The negatives of this kit are;
1) Noisy compressor, 2) Gun does not warn user when it runs out of nails, 3) Should have provided 2-1/2" nails, rather than the 2" nails, 4) Compressor's auto on/off lever can dislodge from the switch assembly when the lever is pushed/pulled at the wrong angle, 5) Must order the free black coloured trigger separately, 6) The gun will at the odd time spall the MDF moulding surface at the nail's point of entry (which means more caulking).

First, the compressor: The unit blasts out an impressive 150 maximum psi for driving more nails than traditional 135 psi compressors. Running on standard household current, this 120-volt electric compressor also cranks out 2.6 standard cubic feet per minute at 90 psi for quick compressor recovery time and faster nailing. Weighing just 34 pounds, the compressor is easy to transport from project to project. And, two quick-connect couplers let the compressor power two nail guns to at the same time. Best of all, an oil-free pump design means maintenance-free operation. A tool-free, jam release mechanism doesnt block the line of sight for uninterrupted work. Olson

found in D55151BN's reviews: Problem with Amazon - I am writing not to rate the compressor but to tell everybody what happened to me. I placed an order for this compressor and an air house that was free. I found out that UPS returned the item back to the manufacturer (damaged item - reason given) they issued me an instant credit, and I am left with an air house and air chuck (part of the order that was delivered) and NO compressor. The air house was supposed to be free but it is not, I got charged 34$ because I did not buy any compressor. Good Compressor/Nailer combo - I bought this compressor mainly to run nailers for those jobs, as well as other around the house usage.
I had read that oil-lubed compressors were quieter and lasted longer, so I was looking for an oil-lubed motor in particular. I shopped around quite a bit, and was tempted by the PC pancake/nailer combos (oilless), but settled on this instead.
I was somewhat dissapointed by the amount of noise generated by the compressor. I'm not sure what it is yet, but it doesn't seem to affect the operation of the unit, and I didn't want to send it back for repairs, since I have a bit of a deadline on some of my jobs.
The rattling bit is the main reason for giving the compressor a 4 instead of a 5.
The compressor works very well, and I'm quite happy with it. It seems fairly well made, and all the components are pretty easy to get to if repairs are needed for some reason. At the time I bought it, Amazon was running a very nice $75 off $300 promotion, and also offering a freeair hose, so I feel that I got a great deal on a very good combo.
