I bought this combo for the light weight of the compressor, so I guess there must be some compromises. Good specs for the price range - I chose this portable unit because of the 6.8 amp draw, collapsible cart, oil lubed pump, good air filter and ball valve drain. Did not find many other compressors in this price range with those specs and did not want to pay $600+ for a monster. The manual says it has a 50% duty cycle so if you need a compressor that will run without stopping look elsewhere. On arrival the box had major rips and crushed areas fairly typical of my experiences of UPS shipment with heavy items.

Switch was broke, regulator fitting broken off flush with the tank, tabs on the compressor that the shroud connects to were broken off from the compressor. After about 2 hours of use (with me that translates to about 3 months) one of the tabs on the compressor that connects to the shroud has broken off. I have not moved the compressor since the day I took it from its box. It's a bit loud but not as loud as some of the "oil free" compressors are.
